- Lots of Fun
Tiger Woods 08 is lots of fun. You actually have to make a good swing to hit the ball well. The only two negatives I have found. You need to have time to play the game each time you want a little golf fix. There are few 15 minutes segments most take 1/2 hour or more. Sometimes you or the computer hit a bad shot and the game hangs up on a graphic and the game has to be rebooted losing all progress in that segment.

- Truly awesome game but ONLY 4 PLAYER PROFILES??? What gives?
As a real-life golfer I have become nearly addicted to playing this game on my Wii as an antidote to not being able to play for real as often as I would like.

With that being said... What is the deal with only allowing you to create 4 player profiles? With the HD size offered on the Wii this is a limitation that makes me want to mark the game down a star in my rating. It means that your guests can't have a profile on the system, or you have to keep swapping out (aka, deleting) profiles to give a guest a personal experience with the game. Big thumbs down for the lack of foresight on that.

Also, the GameFace feature (being able to create a character who looks similar to you) could use a little work. Someone's "look" comes from their mouth, their eyes and their hair. These are the areas that allow for the least amount of customization.

Really though, the play of the game is unparalled in video game golf. It can be customized to allow different skill levels to play together during the same round (something that makes my family's playing experience much more fun). This is what the Wii was designed for and I would feel cheated had we not purchased it.

The minor problems in the game do not outweigh the fun. First the problems are very minor in my opinion. Putting is a little tricky and the controller seems to be fickle. Graphics aren't the best, but its Wii and that is not what the game is about. It bothers me when people complain about the Wii's graphics, go play PS3 or XBOX 360 stare at the graphics and play sitting on your rear end. The Wii is meant to be enjoyed for the different elements it brings to the table and that is exactly what this game does. This is a great multiplayer game, challenging your friends to a round of golf no matter what the weather outside. I would 100% recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of the TW franchise or golf in general. Great game.

I agree with the previous review that says this game is not a video game and just as frustrating as the actual game of golf. i play it all the time, but i'm not sure if someone who doesn't like golf as much would like this game. the wii makes it hard to adjust your strength of hitting the ball. on psp, it is much easier. with the wii, it is hard, if not impossible, to hit it consistently at a percentage of less than 100.

- As Realistic As Possible
This game is the most realistic my family has come across. Even the Wii 'Players' we've created look like us!

We enjoyed the golf game in the Sports package that came initially with our Wii but were blown away by all the features on the Tiger Woods edition and I doubt we will bo back to the other.
