- OK but not great performance
I bought these batteries on the recommendation of a colleague who uses them in equipment they set out for long periods of time. I've been using them in a headlamp and have seen no improvement in performance when compared to Rayovac rechargeable batteries.

Rating:

- Best Batteries I have ever Used.
These batteries are the best. They lasted about 4-5 times longer then the Duracell copppertop, even when taking twice as many pictures with flash. They payed for themselves right out of the box, and when they say pre charged, they mean you've got 95% or more charge out of the box. The charge time is good,and it if you look at the charger, you know if they are charged or not. I love 'em.

- Great for cameras, remotes and MP3 players
With standard NiMH rechargeable batteries, it's easy to find that you have dead batteries if you haven't used your camera in a few weeks. The eneloops solve this problem with a low discharge rate, making them ideal for devices that you use occasionally, but run through alkalines very quickly.

I'm using them for my digital camera, universal remote and bike lights. They are expensive, but pay for themselves after only 4-5 uses (compared to buying Duracells).

Verdict: Great innovation in battery technology, -1 star for cost premium over standard NiMH

I have bought these after I received some from Sanyo as a replacement for some regular NiMH that would not work. I've used these in cameras, robots, toys, you name it. Although my assessment of their performance is very subjective I think they are better than any other NiMH battery I've bought. I will definetely buy them next time.

These rechargeable batteries are some of the best of the new crop - they charge fast, hold the charge and the kit comes with adapters for every kind of battery you might need. Less stuff in the landfills, more money in your pocket....what are you waiting for?
