I have been playing Need for Speed since High Stakes. Let me tell you this is one of the best Need for Speed's I've ever seen. This is a must for the die hard fans. If you have Most Wanted you'll want this game because the story continues. The only thing I have to say is that it's too short. The replay value is really high though. I play at least once a week.

This is very good game, with excellent graphics, sound and plenty of options to customize cars, i haven't tried it on xbox live yet, but so far it has been plenty of fun.

This game is o.k. The career mode is way too easy, it takes about 6-8 hours to beat it. The map is no help at all, since I can't even find myself on it because it is too cluttered. What's also maddening is EA's decision to jump on the microtransaction bandwagon, selling the same cars unlockable through carrer, challenge series and reward card for MS Points!!! Jesus, making us pay for cars we already have, that is pretty low. I guess they made that for people who suck at NFS because unlocking the cars is pretty easy. But, they put in a stupid EA moderator challenge when there are virtually NO EA moderators playing this game!!! How are we ever going to get the achievements if you guys don't even put people on the game playing. They do however, offer a free xbox live marketplace download for a Firetruck, Dumptruck and tier 2 base car bundle.(Aston Martin DB9)

NFS:Carbon is the latest NFS out right now. So how does it compare to the past NFS?

Depends on your taste.

Carbon is a fun game. To me, I usually like playing shooter games, but i love cars. So to me, just putting this in, races a few times, hooking up the cars with the amazing varity of accessories you can use here. Matter of fact, lets get to that wheel quick.

You can upgrade your cars in so many ways, yet, you cant. Let me explain. You can change what size wheels you want. But, it only goes up to 21'. cmon man i want some 24's! the paint varity is good. Nice window tints. But...no underglow?? i want some neons on my ride! also upgrading your engine and what-not is made easy. Anyone can do it.

The graphics are beautiful. Personally i could just put it in just to look at the cars shine ha.

BUT..for big fans of the past NFS..it could be overhyped.

Carbon is fun, pretty, and easy to learn. But the Underground series is alot better. Sure, canyons are fun, but when you make a street racing game...focus on STREET racing.

also is it just me or wouldnt it be alot cooler if (like the commercials) you actually did fall of the canyon in a destructive, firey, awesome type way? that slow'mo carp didnt do it for me.

ALTHOUGH the new slow mo button does add alot more excitment, speacially when being chased by the police.

Now the downfall...Online Mode

The modes are pretty cool, simple racing, and a mode where you or someone else is a cop and you must aviod them...or something to that effect. But more importanly..it lags ALOT. you will start the race sometimes and realize...i dont think the leader should be driving upside while flipping back and forth AND winning...not cool.

Need For Speed Carbon, overall, is a satifying racing game with outstanding graphics. Underground might be better, but if your looking for a racing game made for the 360, so far this one is going to be your best bet.

I bought this game on PS2 before getting Xbox 360, and I'm greatful for that since I would probably waste 50 bucks for it.

First, I don't like the simple map which indicates nothing in the real racing road. I can barely find where am I during the persuit or free roaming.

Second, the graphic is way too dark, even though I liked the way it is at the beginning but I found it is hard to race during the dark eventually.

Third, the mountain drift is cool for sure, but you couldn't find most of them in regular basis for practice.

Fourth, you wouldn't want to make any mistake to buy a new car and get rid of the old ones because the re-play races gives nothing more than 1000.

Fifth, the movies in this one couldn't any worse, even though EA hired the same director who made the ones in NFS:MW to do the work.

Sum-up, huge disappointment compared with the MW, and I still play MW everyday to climb up the rap sheet. So, you'd better download the demo first, or even buy the PS2 version for test before wasting more than 50 on this. Hope the 11th would be better!
