The game has a good idea going, but it needs a lot of work. I gave it three stars because the game really did just about average out for me, the gameplay had a good theme, but there was no story, or background. The graphics weren't terrible, but they were a little dated looking for my tastes(reminiscent of midtown madness 2). The realism factor wasn't nearly what i thought it would be. Steering with a wheel was more difficult that with the keyboard, and the traffic lighting/criminal system is way unfair. I got ticketed multiple times for running orange lights, and for people running into me.

Other than those issues, the game was actually relatively fun to play, for a while.

18 Wheels of Steel Haulin' is unlike any other trucking game out there. For one thing when you earn enough money hauling goods all across America and Canada, you can use your cash to buy your new truck from a truck dealer or order one from the order truck part of the notepad on the game.Also in the game is the part where you can order trailers for your trucks. To find out more about the game,be sure to buy this game. If the video cards on your computer are not updated,be sure to update them so that the game works better. I had to do that and I can tell you that it works much better than it did before. 5 stars for this game,and thanks to those people who helped put this game together. One game play point, when you hire drivers for your trucking company,you have to assign both a truck and trailer to the driver.

I have to say that more i play haulin. more i love it.
Driving distances are soooo coool! I almost need cafe on thermosbottle in my desktop when driving. And when there are no time limits on delivering cargoes, i just pull my truck to truckstation and watch when other truck's go by. I can honestly say that this is really really gre8 game from scs!
I would like to congartulate the team who created the 18Wos Haulin`. The game has a very
solid presence and is very enjoyable
