Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Decent sound, not good for runners.
If you're looking for a great value on a good-sounding set of earbuds, go for it. Or if you walk for exercise, these will be good for you. However as a runner I found this model to be frustrating as they do not stay in place. Also, if you do any strength training where you're lying prone or on your stomach, they will fall out. Trying to find the right earbuds to wear when running has been a years-long effort for me and this model has not satisfied my need. But you will get a very good sound for a great price if that's all you care about.


Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Nice, but needed foam covers on the earbuds for my big ear holes.
These were WAY better once I added foam covers on the earbuds, as I have big ear holes. With those added, these sound great!... Better than my original Apple headphones, for sure.


Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Poor sound quality and bass response is terrible...
I have many experiences with headphones and I can honestly say that these are among the worst I have used. The fit is good but the sound is tinny with too much treble and virtually no bass to speak of. No matter how I adjusted my music I couldnt get hardly any bass so in the trash they went. I have read several reviews that say you cant expect too much from a "cheap" pair of headphones but I disagree as I have had 2 pairs of headphones that exceeded my expectations...The Koss ksc-75 and the Sony MDR-Q22LP. Both have excellent sound and excellent bass response and you dont have to adjust your music to make them sound good which is the mark of a good pair of headphones...Plug and play (to borrow a phrase), and they should sound as good as when you first played your music. Being somewhat of an audiophile and sound "snob"I DO NOT recommend these!!

Stop saying that they don't fit your ears. They are flexible so you can bend them to fit your ears.
Pro: they are dirt cheap and will stay on your ears.
Only con is the small bass. I also own the Bose QC1 and they are far superior to these.

I consider myself an "audiophile" and mostly listen to acoustic music on my iPhone 3G. I own both Bose Over-Ear headphones and the Sony equivalent of these headphones (MDR-J10). These headphones deliver superb, balanced, crystal clear sound that surpasses the Bose headphones and Sony, particularly in the treble range. Bass is more than adequate for such a small pair of earhook headphones. They're as comfortable as the Sony, very lightweight and stay secure in place (assuming you have normal-sized ears). They're no match for Shure Isolating in-ear earphones, but then again, at $10, what do you expect? Outstanding sound quality for the price. BUY THEM - you won't be disappointed!
