Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great product for a nice price
I've held off reviewing this controller to see how it would withstand gaming wear and tear, and I am here to happily report that this controller has given me ZERO trouble since I received it in October of 2005. I have successfully played NBA Live 06, MVP Baseball 2005, Far Cry, Microsoft Flight Simulator X, and various other PC gaming titles with this controller.

The set up is beyond simple...all you have to do is take it out of the box, plug it in to your USB drive, and go through a quick and painless setup. I was gaming less than 5 minutes after opening the UPS box. The controls are very responsive, and I haven't had any issues such as buttons sticking, control sticks breaking, or anything. The controller still looks brand new after more than a year's use.

I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to move on from a keyboard, but still keep PC gaming simple. I've found gaming on the computer to be much more enjoyable than a console, and that is mostly because of this controller.


Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Can't Logitech make a controller with analog sticks that don't break?
I have used both the Logitech Duel action gamepad, and after that one lost sensitivity in the analog sticks, I thought that buying this slightly more expensive rumblepad would be higher quality. After only six weeks of use the right analog pad doesn't work in the forward direction at all. Buy a more expensive microsoft xbox 360 controller for PC and save yourself from buying logitech's crap over and over again every time they break.

Great price. Very nice heft (weight), well balanced, buttons and sticks have excellent feel/click, tops of sticks are rubber-ish which makes them non-slip on sweaty fingers. Stick sensitivity is very good. Excellent software setup and mapping ability to include flipping the action of the left and right sticks. As for the vibration, this thing is not a wimp. When it rumbles it does so with authority. I have nothing to compare it to but I am totally satisfied.

Shaped basically like a PS2 controller. Has a little bit of weight to it unlike other PC controllers that feel like if you dropped them they would bust open.


Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - As good as it gets folks
It costs about the same amount as a controller for any console. Why do you hold it under such scrutney!? These controllers don't last forever! As conrollers get more complicated and have more buttons, yes they will break with excessive use. My N64 & PS2 controllers last for 2 months and I would consider that a normal lifespan considering heavy wear and tear. All my Gamecube controllers creep when they move and I have 4 of them. Deal with it! The joystick is a mechanical part, it fails quickly. Have you compared this to other controllers. Frankly I don't think you are going to find a better controller short of something gyroscopic and wireless.
