- Great Sound, low price!
I bought this for my Dad (a decidedly techno-phobic type) for Christmas to enhance his home computer experience. The fact that he was able to set this up by himself was a huge plus as far as I'm concerned. The sound quality is excellent, and the compact size and design compliment his Flat Panel Display very nicely.

I got these speakers about a month ago, expecting mid-level performance, but when I turned them on, listening to some of my favorite music, I was shocked by the quality.

The base is phenominal, the volume these things can achieve while maintaining quality is simply awesome.

Furthermore, the actual size of the speakers, being very tiny, makes this excellent unit very versatile, meaning they can easily be placed on a desk, or even a book shelf.

For the price, I dont believe you can go wrong.

NOTE: If your going to hook thes up to the tv the unit does not include a tv wire. But I hooked them up to my pc, so I dont really care.

- Big Sound in a Small Package
I had previous experience with subwoofers in a professional setting, but didn't know what to expect from these little satellite speakers. They're nicely designed and small enough to be unobtrusive, but how do they sound? To me, they sound GREAT! You can adjust the bass level through the subwoofer so that it's neither weak nor boomy, and the sub can be placed out of sight (mine is under a desk). I admittedly don't own a top-of-the-line stereo system, but my little computer speakers blow it away! My job calls for me to check such systems on behalf of our school staff. I have recommended this speaker system to co-workers, without reservation.

These are not your regular factory computer speakers. These speakers put out quality stereo sound, just as good as any home stereo system. The subwofer puts out quality sounding bass and the bass levels are easily adjusted with the remote. The two smaller speakers put out quality high range sound. I was shocked by the quality of this system when I listened to it.

Purchased from Amazon based on reviews and Curcuitcity was not carrying inventory as usual. Very good little speaker for money. Wife thinks there ugly but I like them. Never turned past 4/5 on woofer so cann't comment on last review posted. High volume based on the quality of my source input would not be a fair comparison. Plan to keep many years so spent a few extra bucks for a decent speaker. Was not pleased with 8 watt low end speakers on display at local consumer products box box retailers. Equivalent system would be much more there. Mid range is not quite there but that should not be a shocker, I turn upr the woofer to hide the missing mid range. Controller is a nice tool to turn of music easily without fiddling with software controls.
