The sound quality on the headset is great. In talking to those who know me and speak to me face to face say that my voice sounds exactily like they are talking to me in person. Some headsets fail to reporduce you voice completely. It is comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

- Perfect headset for working professional.
I work from home and spend a lot of time on the phone and computer. It is a requirement to have both of my hands free to type and talk on the phone at the same time. I particulary like this headset because the boom extends closer to my mouth, more than other brands so I don't have to talk as loud. Very important when you have sleeping kids, or you don't want your neighbors to hear you speak when in the backyard talking to a client. I also like the mute button which is readly accessable for when the kids barge in the computer room, dog starts barking, whatever, when talking with a client. The only draw back is that the headset only last about 1 1/2 to two years (I'm on my third one). But I'm using it 40 hrs a week and for the price and quality, you can't beat it. No one has ever said I sounded like I was talking in a tunnel, so the sound quality is equally as good. No I don't work for Panasonic, I just like this product.

I purchased this as a gift for my mother and she has been very pleased with the all around quality of it so far. Her voice quality is excellent, you can not tell when she is using it because it sounds just like a normal phone, and she says that the sound quality is excellent as well.

- Excellent headset.
I've used Panasonic corded headsets with Motorola and Panasonic wireless and cordless telephones for nearly three years. The headset can be used with either left or right ears. The mute button is useful for off-phone acknowledgements without disrupting the other party(ies) you are speaking to. Even though I've hearing loss in the midrange, the headset is sufficiently loud enough on levels less than max. The headset is also very good out of doors in that it doesn't transmit wind noise. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another of these headsets.

- A rare disappointment with Panasonic
Over the years I have been very pleased with the quality of Panasonic products and have come to rank them very highly. This headset, unfortunately, breaks that streak. It's deficiencies sink it to the level of most such headsets that are on the market today. Unlike another unit that I have, by another manufacturer, which works very well, the sound output from the Panasonic earpiece is low... even with the volume control turned all the way up. More annoying is that the microphone 'boom' is not flexible and cannot be brought close to the mouth... and thus I have to speak far louder than I normally like in order for the other party to hear me well.
