These are a very decent set for the price. The soung quality is excellent, especially when the noice cencelling feature is on (it amplifies the music or audio). Headset is comfortable although the battery/switch unit can be annoying.

I like to keep this simple: excellent sound, lightweight and comfortable with effective noise canceling feature. As for their acoustic range, everything from AC/DC to Mozart sounds well above average. And the seller.....I had these sent to Sydney Australia and received the package within two days. Well done guys!!

I purchased these headphones for use with an ipod to be used when traveling - especially by plane. The day I received them, I installed the battery, plugged them into the ipod and put them on. I was a little disappointed in the sound quality, but when I turned on the active noise cancelling, I was really disappointed with the noise cancelling performance - it was practically non-existent. I think the issue is that with "on-the-ear" phones as opposed to "over-the-ear" models, you just don't get a good enough "seal" to keep ambient noise from getting through, and the "anti-noise" generated just isn't enough to overcome the "leakage". I didn't try the Bose QC3's, so I don't know if they're any better or not. I returned these Sennheiser PCX 250's and bought the Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7's. These are "over-the-ear" phones and work GREAT. My wife recently made a cross-country plane trip, used the Audio-Technica phones, and said she will no longer travel without them. Guess I'm going to have to buy another pair for myself. Just a comment about Amazon's service - it's top notch. The purchase, delivery and return of the Sennheisers, and the purchase and delivery of the Audio-Technicas, all worked perfectly.

I really wanted those lovely Bose noise cancellers but really couldn't afford it.
This is a great alternative though.
I take mine all over the world and it's been a much quieter place since I've been traveling with it.
