THE GAME IS GREAT BUT HARD YOU HAVE TO TAKE SNAP SHOTS FOR MISSIONS AND HEARD ANIMALS IN CAGES BEFORE CARNIVORES GET THEM BUT THEN YOU GET TO BUILD THE PARK.AND IF YOU GET MAD ENOUGH YOU CAN LET THE CARNIVORES LOOSE.IT'S ACTULY FUN TO WATCH A RAPTER JUMP ON A HUMAN.I WOULD RECOMEND THIS GAME TO POEPLE WHO LIKE SMULATION GAMES.

Basically, this OG casts you as the curator of jurassic park. research high security fences and sentry turrets, build the pens and attractions, and uncover dino bones and amber to create dinosaurs. very fun, the ability to climb into a ranger helicopter and zoom around your park is quite fun, as is creating a deathtrap for visitors (a fun diversion if you ever get annoyed by them). I wish they had more dinosaurs (iguanadon would have been nice) but all the really popular ones are here. My only complaint is the lack of realism. I wish that they hadn't followed the films so closely, considering that there are a few big innacuracies (velociraptor intelligence and size, spinosaurus existing on other dinos instead of fish...) overall though, I had a lot of fun with this game

This game surprised me after the lame games that my children beg to play and zone out to...I was ready to sell the x-box and make my money back. We got a demo of this and my 9 year old who was never into dinosaurs suddenly knew the names of all of them. Was setting up a park and using money skills-math was never hard for him but he was bored at school and proclaimed to hate it. This is a beautiful graphic and the music is so nice to hear (after an hour of some of the other childrens games you want to pound you head against the wall) this has nice soft music that goes with the movie and the game.Even soft voices for announcements finally something I could stand for any amount of time (well within reason) I highly recommend for the entertainment value and the bonus for us parents is they are getting an education about math, science, socialogy and more. If you were thinking of buying and weren't sure You must get this. Oh, yeah my husband loves it too. He said in a small way it is like his sim games where you build and create. *very loosly based*

I got this game for my b day and started playing it was the game that won me over and this is a game for all who love driving a jeep in an enclosure with dinos like the furious spinosourus or the popular t rex! one things for sure and thats that the game has good graphics and the wide selection of things to do and dinos to get are excelent! This is truly the best game that has come out for awhile so i gave it 5 stars and recommmend it for everyone!

In a land where Zoo Tycoon and its dinosaur expansion have addicted millions of gamers, it's no surprise that a Jurassic Park sim would be killer!

I was addicted to Zoo Tycoon and its expansions so I eagerly gave this one a try. I wasn't disappointed at all. First off, you have a WIDE variety of dinosaurs to work with, and can zoom in and out on them to appreciate their looks.

There's all the normal fun of mixing herbivores in with carnivores, and dealing with problem animals. Sometimes you have to shoot them down from your helicopter, something the visitors don't appreciate. But they'd probably appreciate becoming Rex Chow even less!

You can get Dino DNA and do many cool things with existing dinosaurs and even mix together new dinos. While there are a few minor annoying things about the interface, you get used to them quickly enough and really enjoy the rich graphics and dino-mania for hours and hours.

Highly recommended for any Tycoon fan!
