My son is the player, here's his review: Gameplays almost fast enough. Slightly long lag on occasion. Very frustrating on the Chaos Emerald Bonus Stages 4 & 7. The Sonic and Chaotix bonus challenges are very, very hard. The other two are very easy even though Team Rose and Team Dark are on opposite ends of the difficulty scale officially. The actual story line is awesome but I have trouble finding someone to compete against for two player even though I've unlocked all seven two-player modes. Count 'em seven. All in all, a fairly good Sonic Game. However I do think they should go back to the 2-D games, those ones were awesome.

This is one of the best sonic games ever made!!! I'm stuck on Lost Jungle Zone but other than that this game rocks.

You can choose from 4 teams. Team Sonic has extremely high speed. Team Sonic has characters Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails. Team Dark is intermediate
and has chracters Shadow, OMEGA, and Rogue. Team Rose consosts of Amy, Big, and Cream. Finally Team Chaotix. Team Chaotix has Esspio, Vector, and, Charmy.

You can choose which team you want to use at any time. Often it will have a signal on which characters to use at certain points. A blue signal means
speed type character suggested. Red signal means power type character suggested. Yellow signal means fly type character suggested.

Speed type characters are Sonic, Shadow, Amy, and Espio. Power type characters are Knuckles, OMEGA, Big, and Vector. Fly type Characters are Tails, Rogue, Cream, and, Charmy.

Now lets talk about features. The grapics are unbelievable(I mean that in a good way). The voices are all different. The characters are all one of a kind. They all have different abilities(except for Sonic and Shadow). Overall, BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!

first off this game is soo not boring it is really fun, second off THERE ARE NO GLICTHES I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THIS GAME EVER AND THE CAMERA DOES KEEP UP WITH YOU!!!!and third off this game is not hard repeat that sentance ten times i beat it in half a week and got all the bonous stuff and keys and everything i beat it with team sonic team rose team choatix and with team dark witch means it is on hard P.S. the one reviewer who said this game gave his kid nightmares ,HOW THE HECK CAN YOU GET NIHGTMARES FROM A SONIC GAME AND HOW CAN YOU GET SO MAD YOU START TO CRY THAT REALLY PUZZLES ME THE GRAPHICS ARE GREAT TO,OVERALL THIS GAME IS VERRY GOOD

This is a fun game, man! THATS NOT A LIE!!! The graphics are way cool and the game has high- speed action. Corksrews, loops, and more. Buy this game. you won't be sorry!!!

When I first got this game, (my cousins bought that for my birthday) I put it in my PS2 and play it. It's like you gather three of your friends and save the world yadayadayada...

Of course I like Shadow for some reason. He's fast.
And one fact. Shadow has rocket boosters, so he runs like he's roller skating.

The music goes great especially its main theme. Some of the songs I make a MIDI file of it. I'm already done with Rail Canyon.

About these AIs. Their good. Especially they were using Team Sonic (after Lost Jungle Zone). Good AI. Their good (seriously).

The graphics were great. Word on the street says that voiceovers were poor.

I really like Shadow's voice in Japanese and English (seriously).

Don't question me about the 6th Paragraph ok?

The Special Stages were challenging especially getting the chaos emerald. It's fun to play it with 2player. The First one was easy you just had collect links and race to the finish line. It was just the same thing compared to the other SEGA games which involves Sonic.

Team Chaotix is not really my style. Team Dark is really my style because sometimes, I have a destructive mind.

Metal Sonic and Hyper Shadow are one of these guys you will face in the stages after Egg Emperor and Final Fortress.

Metal Sonic and Hyper Shadow are playable in Shadow the Hedgehog, and I still don't know if you can play as them in this game.
