When I first received this program I was a little bit intimidated to use it. I had used free slideshow software in the past to create product slideshows for clients, and was happy enough with the results. Had this product been available back then, I would have been thrilled.
When I first installed this software, I was not entirely confident in using it, but since my teenage son often makes youtube videos of his garage band to share with the world, I put him to task learning this software. ... Read More

Can't believe that I can make some serious DVD. Take clips from favorite scenes from other DVDs or for family movies. I used it to make a photoalbum on DVD. At first I was skeptical, but the plus is that its easy to use.

I've played with this program for about a month now, have learned a lot and have more to learn. I think if you're a creative person you can do a whole heck of a lot with Ulead and if you're not, well the program offers a bunch of templates that will get you going.
Before Ulead, my movie making skills were just copy the program onto the computer, burn it to a DVD and that was it. Now I turn out pretty good stuff. Not professional stuff, by any means, but very watchable, entertaining. I like ... Read More

About the only video I'm interested in working with is the video that I get from my cell phone. I have Motorola RAZR so it isn't some obscure model no one ever heard of. I was surprised to see that there was no support for the 3g2 file format in Ulead.
I contacted Corel to make sure that they did, in fact, not support this file format. They don't--at least not yet. They may support it in the future as patch update (no time line was given).

I've got several videos saved on my computer, but I've never ventured into the world of video editing, thinking it was beyond me. Well, I don't guess it is after all. I installed Ulead without a hitch and found it to be pretty stable on my system. That means I didn't crash my computer, something I seem to be good at doing, so that's a big plus for Ulead right off the bat.
