I should of known it was too good to be true. This product, and the so-called help from the manufacturer is a joke. I can't get my money back for this sub-standard product, but I can sure write a review that will maybe save someone elses hard earned money. The back-up camera was the first thing that didn't work. Had a person that installs them for a living try to install it, and even HE couldn't get it to work! The company REFUSED to replace the camera! The GPS system itself, is completely outdated ... This is not a bad unit, on par with my Verizon Navigator that I had on my phone but without the $10 service charge and air time that I had to pay Verizon. Don't fall for the back-up camera, it's only a gimmick especially if you live in the north where you get some chilly fall nights that mix with the heat of the day and causes condensation on the camera lens, or if your like me and wash the vehicle alot. I usually do not write reviews, but this time I feel it is my duty. I must say quality assurance for this company is extremely poor. The first time I used it, I thought it was quite easy to use. The UI for the GPS function was well designed (but you cannot listen to MP3 while using the GPS, and it sometimes blanks out probably thinking that the backup camera has turned on). I really disappointed with this Nextar GPS. First of all its LCD screen is not bright enough to view in day time even if you have set the brightness at maximum level. The picture of backup camera it too poor. Even a 20 Dollars nanny camera may be better than this. The camera connects to the GPS via wireless connection but the technology used for it is old analog one, not digital. The result is if you put your car in reverse gear 10 times it may show you the poor back view 6 times and misses 4 times. ... Read More

Great GPS and a bonus rear view camera (color)... GPS function is easy to program and works great. Rearview camera needs to be adjusted to view as close to the rear bumper as possible... Had to make a special bracket to accomplish this.... now in my van I see 1 feet behind the rear bumper... I would recgomend this GPS and rearview camera to any one that has a VAN... Will be buying a second camera for use on my car....
