The DataTraveler 400 supports 20 MB/sec. read and 10 MB/sec. write speeds, which means that your files will transfer from your computer to your drive quickly. About the size of a lighter, the drive features a smart capless design so you won't lose any parts.

For Windows Vista users, the DataTraveler is also enhanced for Windows ReadyBoost, to help you take full advantage of your Vista based system. When you insert the device into your computer's USB port, Windows Vista will check to see if its performance is fast enough to work with Windows ReadyBoost. If so, you can choose to allocate part of a USB drive's memory to speed up performance and use the remainder to store your files.

I bought this for Vista's Ready Boost, So far so good. I like the design,no little cap to worry about.

I bought 2 of these flash drives. One I use with Windows Vista Ready-Boost to assist with memory operations and the other I use for file transfers. Using flash drives for Ready Boost will increase system efficiency about 8 percent. This may not seem like much but every little bit helps. This USB flash drive works fine and I have no complaints.
