- Poor customer service, poor product
I received this camera for Christmas, and by June it had stopped working. First, it stopped focusing. Then about 1 in 25 pictures would turn up absurdly pixilated. Finally, the small self-timer light next to the flash would not turn off even when the camera itself was off. The battery itself had to be removed for it to go off. I contacted Kodak, and since the camera was still under warranty, I sent it back to get fixed. I just heard back from them that due to "corrosion damage" the camera is ... Read More

Bought this camera 4 months ago and can't tell you how many batteries we go through.This camera takes very good pictures and if you can work all the functions it has it can take excellent pictures.Its a bit bigger than the standard pocket cameras,but its very sturdy in the hand especially if your at the zoo hanging over the wall a bit to get a picture of a sea lion.

As stated in my title, I have the 8.1MP version. I am writing my review here because my version is not available on Amazon. From what I can see, my camera looks exactly like the 8.2MP version. It has a 2.5in./6.4cm LCD screen. It is also High Definition. I have owned this camera for a short time and took it out for a day of wildlife photos recently. It has nice features and functionality for the price but a few deficiencies were apparent right away.

1. LCD is dim when taking pictures in sunlit to overcast lighting. Had difficulty seeing what I was taking pictures of.

2. The zoom in/out buttons are awkwardly placed so that when you use the eyepiece, your fingers get in the way. If the LCD was brighter you wouldn't have to use the eyepiece. ... Read More
