- It's worth the money!
I purchased this for use in my job as an educator. I use PowerPoints a lot in class and was tired of being tied to my computer to move to the next slide. After reading other recommendations, I bought it. It has worked perfectly! I like that you can turn it on and off, so the battery will not drain as quickly. I needed a remote for my laptop in order to give PowerPoint presentations, which I do frequently. I looked around and discovered this Keyspan Presentation Remote Pro and, from what I read, it would address all my needs. I purchased it and couldn't be happier. set it up on a mac as well as pc, both with powerpoint (office 2007 PC, office 2008 MAC)and it did exactly what it was supposed to.

Great little mult-feature remote control--no drivers to load, truly plug and play. I really like the fact that the USB receiver stores inside the remote to minimize chance of losing it. Built-in laser pointer is nice, too. However, it doesn't work well thru walls as advertised, although I can't think of a situation where you'd be using it in a different room than the computer...

I have have used this on both Mac and Window machines. The range is great. I even put the control in my pocket and used it from there with no problem. I am left handed at it was easy for me to use with little if any problem.

My only issue is that the battery compartment cover appears to slide off rather easily but that may just be me.

I like it so much, I take this with me to other presentations and offer it to the speakers to use!
