- Lasted all of 13 months...
I purchased this phone set and one additional handset in September of 2007. This week the base unit "died". No power at all. I have tried swapping the power supply, but it is the unit itself. I contact Philips and found, not surprisingly, that the warranty is 1 year and there is nothing they "can" do.

I spent over $200.00 all tolled and get a year of use. Not good.

- stylish and good handling but not great sound
I like the phone, it is cool, easy to use and has good handling overall. My only complaint is with sound, the voice in the earphone is not totally clear has a certain hiss. This might be due to my connection, though I don't recall having this problem before.

- Unstable phone
The first time I bought this phone, one of the charging base wasn't working. So, I had to return the phone back. I bought it again since I really liked it. However, now 3 months later, one of the 2 sets stopped working. I am having to send it back again to get a replacement. This is very annoying as I have to send the whole set back and be left with no phone to use. I am now stuck with it and can only get it replaced. God knows how long the third set will last.

This phone is terrible. It arrived broken. It's difficult to set up. It has terrible battery life.

If you find yourself poised to buy this phone, don't do it.

I have been using this crapfest since Novemebr of 2007 and it malfunctions daily. Issues with handsets charging, deciding to just shut off when fully charged, sometimes the handsets just wont turn on unless I shake to receiver and the phone often does not ring when call come in. Phillips customer care is great...they will replace the phone if I send it back. Wonderful, but what do I do for a phone in the interim? They refused to work with me and lost a cusotmer for life.
