In addition to music files, the player supports a mass storage mode, making the player a handy tool for carrying important school and business files. As an added school/business feature, the player comes with an integrated microphone, allowing you to record those important lectures or meetings in MP3 format.

Loading the device with your favorite music is simple: All you need to do is connect the player to your PC or Mac with the provided USB cable, and start dragging music onto the device. Because the unit supports a USB 2.0 connection, transferring files to and from the device can be accomplished in mere moments (up to 40 times faster than USB 1.0 connections). Ideal as a workout companion, the player comes packaged with a convenient arm band, and the included neck strap earphones are certain to stay out of your face during the most strenuous aerobic activities. The player features ID3 and LRC support so you can see song and synchronized lyric information displayed on the unit's backlit LCD screen. There's also an integrated FM radio, an ideal feature for keeping up to date on breaking news and weather forecasts. very happy with this purchase....it works great...fits in with its intended use very well..have used it at the gym many times..it is moisture resistant...I dropped a weight on it and the back came off but popped right back on and it continues to play...the menu and display are great...

The unit never worked correctly. It froze up constantly requiring me to take the battery out to change music selections. I tried to contact Coby multiple times. The online FAQs were not helpful and Coby never responded to my emails. Their online call center was also poor. They disconnected me twice after being on hold for 10+ minutes. This player is a super value and ideal for the gym/health club, especially the tunable FM radio feature that enables the user to tune in to the wireless audio broadcast channels for the overhead video screens which are becoming very prevalent. The only caution I will offer is that the ear buds that come with the unit are fairly large (relatively speaking) and some users may find it difficult to keep them in place during workouts.
