I was pleseantly suprised at how quick and easy this burner installed and how easy it is to use. The lightscribe is a great addition. It is really fast and quiet too.

I've been using this dvd writer for about two months now. Sometimes it works fine. Sometimes it doesn't. It plays movies without a hitch, but I end up throwing out about half the dvds I try to burn either because it aborts in the middle of the burning process or because the final dvd won't play (either on my computer of my dvd player). I bought it to replace an internal dvd writer, which worked with my existing software for years, so I know the problem is not with the software or my system. ... Read More
