- Worked great for awhile
I was using the Stone for listening to audio books as I exercised. After about 2 months the Stone started to "lose" my place so I spent the first few minutes of my walk finding it again. I solved the problem by having only one book on the Stone at a time. The next thing was the Stone stopped being recognized by my computer. At first I blamed it on Vista but have tried my other computer with XP and still no connection. I cannot even charge the Stone from a wall charger.

I don't really consider myself to be in the iPod generation but I really love this little player. I got a free MP3 player (generic) which ended up breaking so I went looking for a replacement. I especially like the Zen Stone for its speaker so that I don't have to use the earbuds. I use it while gardening to just clip on the inside of my shirt or to set out while I do exercise.
