Product Description:
TuneFlex is a dock and charger designed with automobile convenience in mind. TuneFlex's flexible steel neck adjusts to any angle and its cradle grips your iPod, rotates to stay upright to an easily readable position. TuneFlex plugs into your car's 12 Volt accessory outlet to power and charge your iPod. The light at the base of TuneFlex's neck shows its power status. TuneFlex's charging circuitry is even equipped with a fuse to keep your iPod safe. TuneFlex has a built-in 1/8-inch stereo line-out audio jack lets you attach the included cassette adapter or cables from your iPod to your stereo. TuneFlex also includes a pass-through dock connector that lets you use digital devices, such as Griffin's iTrip with Dock Connector FM transmitter, AirClick remote, SmartDeck cassette adapter, or others. - Good product but not for Honda Civics.
My cousin bought the similar item from Apple store and cost him $50! I couldn't believe that I bought the similar item for this price! It works but unfortunately its not made for my Honda. I have to twist it 180 degrees so my Ipod can face me. Everytime I would drive, it would twist to its original position. I guess its not made for my car but I still give it a 4 star due to its performance.

i was sent to this item by a griffin technology support tech because the new tuneflex aux would not fit my old style ipod and this older style would. what i got was another new style tuneflex aux. the item received was not the old style (as pictured), but another one exactly like the one i had already bought.

- Get The TuneFlex AUX 2 Model, not this one.
This product has been updated. Griffin has come out with the TuneFlex AUX 2 version. It is much better (see my review of it below)

Plain and simple, don't bother with this product. It pales in comparison to the updated model. This model shifts around and isn't as clean looking as the new model. It also doesn't always charge my iPod Classic...which didn't charge properly for a lot of auto chargers (I tried about 5 different ones). Just skip ... Read More

- Convenient, but there's a squeal
Just plug and play. I have it in our 2008 Toyota Sienna. However, when playing from my Nano(3G), I have to turn the volume up, much higher than the radio. Which I suppose is the reason I hear the squeal, and it is definitely noticeable when listening to podcasts. It doesn't matter what the volume is on the ipod.
I'm thinking of drilling a hole in the ipod cradle in order to directly plug the output into the Aux connection so that I can keep it charging and that should stop the squeal.

I got this for Christmas (12/2007) and still love it. I have not had any of the problems others encountered... maybe it is their stereos and not the adapters? I have a 2007 Yukon Denali with a Bose stereo and absolutely love the sound quality provided with this adaptor.
