This remote functions very well. Be prepared to spend a couple of hours getting it programmed if you have a lot of various items. The remote is connected to a computer via USB (mini jack - the cable is included), and then you run the software from the Internet. If you forget the password, the software has a very nice feature that retrieves the information and passwords from the remote. I loved the price on the refurb and I have no complaints about that at all. If this thing is used, you cannot tell by its condition. The only real indication that it is not new is the lack of retail packaging- it came in a plain brown box without any print at all. Fine with me.

Others complain about the quality of the LCD. Yes it is a little grainy but it is not a DVD player- who cares. It does its job.

Great Universal Remote
Easy to do setup for practically any entertainment device
controls my vizio tv , onkyo receiver , sony blu ray player and coolsat satellite receiver effortlessly
not yet experienced a need to do costom programming , but if needed is suported by the world class logitech customer care.

I got my Harmony 880 setup last night, controlling my Samsung LCD, Motorola DVR, Xbox 360, Onkyo AV Receiver, and Macbook Pro. Setup was easy, and the activity system makes things easy for my lovely lady (why should she have to know what input the TV should be set to?).

Now that I can watch Netflix movies on my Xbox, I can use the remote to turn on my Xbox, navigate to the Netflix blade, and start watching..awesome.

I have been wanting this remote for a long time, and hit the jackpot when I found it refurbished on Amazon. At this price point, you cannot find a remote that can compare in form and function. Programming could not be easier, and battery life is second to none. Heck, even my girlfriend was able to use it with no instruction whatsoever. lol If you are looking for a remote, your search is over.
