I like the phone and it has all the functions I need but,the volume on the receiver needs to be louder.

I bought this phone to replace a Motorola that was eating batteries. Setup was easy, the menu's aren't too intuitive but I've seen worse. Call volume is wonderful, battery life as well. My wife has talked for over an hour, and it still shows a full battery. It reads the caller id, which is very cool as well, no getting up to find out it's a telemarketer.

I wanted a cordless which was not too expensive. My old cordless was an expensive V-TECK, which worked well for four years. But, I didn't want to invest $150 plus for a replacement. I made a mistake and purchased a cheap NORTHWESTERN BELL, which I had to throw out. I shopped again, and after looking, I purchased the PANASONIC KX-TG6051M 5.9 GHz cordless for approximately $60. So far, my PANASONIC has worked well.

I am very happy with my purchase. I have found Panasonic to be the best brand in cordless phones. It's easy to hear the person on the other end which has not been true with other brands I've had. My favorite features with this phone are the talking CID and the different musical ring tones. I don't have to pick up the phone and look to see who's calling.
