The Humminbird 747c Color Fish Finder is for serious recreational anglers ready for a step up from traditional fish finders, while still retaining incredible ease of use. The 747c is compact, but full of already built-in capabilities, with the ability to add advanced accessories, making it the perfect companion for your fishing outings.

The Humminbird 747c uses DualBeam PLUS sonar, selectable between 20- and 60-degree beams, or simultaneous operation to deliver both wide coverage and better bottom definition up to 1,500 feet with a target separation of only 2.5 inches. This fish finder includes real-time sonar at up to 40 times per second, and Sonar Echo Enhancement sensitive enough to track a jig to over 40 feet. This unit's high-speed, micro-dynamic transducer is reliable up to 70 mph, and even includes water temperature and is speed capable.

The 747c has an ultra high-contrast, 5-inch TFT LCD screen with 320 x 240 lines of resolution in 256 colors for enhanced separation with high visibility, and an adjustable backlight. The 747c is also capable of upgrading to GPS trackplotting, PC-connection, and a full-screen trackplotter, a 3D track, and a split-screen sonar track with an adjustable split. Despite all its various functions, this unit remains easy to use, and all its advanced upgrades are plug-and-play compatible, from the GPS receiver, to the SmartCast wireless sonar link and PC connection accessories.

The Humminbird 747c features real-time flasher performance, Bottom Lock to enhance resolution and separate fish from structure, one-touch zoom with 2x, 4x, 6x and 8x zoom levels, and X-Press Menus so you can access the most important controls with fewer button presses. This fish finder also features both fresh and saltwater options, the ability to choose between TruArch for actual fish returns or selective Fish ID+ with target depth, and Freeze Frame to instantly pause the sonar display, allowing more time to see the details.

The 747c comes with a transom mount transducer, and a tilt-and-swivel, quick-disconnect mount system, for either Gimbal or in-dash mounting. This unit measures 6.9 x 7.7 x 4.5 inches (W x H x D) as a Gimbal mount, or when in-dash mounted requires three inches of behind-dash clearance. For upgrades, this system is compatible with optional QuadraBeam Bottom Scanning, and WideSide Bank Scanning Transducers. The Humminbird 747c is built tough with fully gasketed and waterproof construction, and is backed by a manufacturer's one-year warranty.

- Great value - greta performance
Just installed with ease into a Boston Whaler Dauntless 18. Very easy to follow directions. Did not drill the transom but used a plastic "wood" block (Home Depot) with 3M 5200. Very good readings and detail and fish recognition right on. The kids saw fish and immediately baited up. Two big catfish as their first catch which is the point of this gadget. Very interesting to see the river detail and just how shallow it is in parts that one would expect to be deep. This is a must a color monitor ... Read More
