I'm very annoyed because the product cannot be activated as it was purchased after the initial protection expired.I was not told this at the time of purchase and I have not been offered an alternative Plan. However, you have ofered to refund the purchase price. What a waste of time and effort.

I used to work in an Apple Store. We were pressured to push AppleCare. I only took the job with the understanding I would NEVER pressure a customer to buy something they didn't need. They forced me to push .Mac just the same, but I made it clear to customers my heart wasn't in that disappointing product.

I've only had to use the support twice - once for a harddrive failure and another time for a question. both times my expectations were WILDLY exceeded. My hard drive was replaced SAME DAY (5 hours) in store and because of time machine, I was back to where I was the very next morning.
