The Uniden TRU9466 is thoughtfully designed for small businesses or homes that find two separate phone lines to be one of life's necessities. The system is expandable to include a total of 10 handsets with charging cradles (available separately). This TRU9466 base system includes one handset, and is the only one of the expandable system that requires connection to a phone jack. DirectLink two-way radio communication is built into each handset and the base speakerphone, allowing them to function as an in-home intercom system or baby monitor. Redial any of the last three dialed numbers at the touch of a button, activate five-way conference calls or just enjoy the consistent, clear 5.8 GHz digital signal transmission. You can transfer incoming calls between the handset and base, and make use of the convenient hands-free design by using the included belt clip and built-in headset jack (headsets available separately). Easily adjust handset and ringer volume levels to your comfort, and set the handset LCD menu to one of three menu languages (English, French, or Spanish). A page button lets you quickly locate a handset if it's strayed under the couch cushions. - More intuitive than Panasonic, but has range issues
I bought the Uniden TRU9466 2-line to replace my older Panasonic KX-TG6500 2-line. The reason was because my Panasonic would only allow up to three extra handsets plus the base station (4 total) which isn't enough.

The Uniden I bought allows up to 9 handsets plus base station (10 total). The Uniden also has a more intuitive phone book feature (you can access a person's name faster), and it has a one-button speed dial for up to 10 people which the Panasonic doesn't have. It also allows ... Read More

- Plug it in and it works
I purchased this Uniden 2-line cordless to use with a VOIP system to replace my antiquated office phone system. I added 2 additional extension handsets. In initial testing of the system, I did find that at the extremes of distance from the base within my office there was a hair of static interference but not an intolerable amount. The feature set fulfills all of my needs. In two weeks of implementation, I have had no problems with this system.

I have viatalk and their two line voip and never know which line will be ringing in and made it a problem. So I found this phone system and after reviewing the reviews and specs I decided on it. It was a good decision as it works perfectly well with the voip and never have to worry about what line is calling just pick up the phone and answer or dial even if someone is on the other line. I am totally satisfied.

We have a problem with the disk in the middle no longer working on 3 of our 6 phones-which makes this phone semi-useless.

I was looking for a 2-line cordless for about 3 weeks. Everything at CC and BB was way overpriced and all of them included an answering system. In today's modern times an answering system is out of date. Besides, I did not want an answering system on my business line (line2 in our home) so that our kids could not accidently turn it on and create a mild disaster.
