- Read the instructions
Hi Guys, I had lot of trouble getting this hardware to start. First I thought it didnot came the installation CD so I tried to find the driver online and couldn't get it to work. Then I finally found the CD hidden in the packet and the installation was fine. Then I tried calling out but it didnot work. After reading the manual I found that you have to dial 001 area code and number and then * to call.

This one is working perfectly so far with the new driver. I have Win XP-SP3 but don't have any issue. In my opinion the key is to use the new driver from D-Link website in place of the driver, shipped in the CD along with this. Highly recommended.

It works when the D-Link software is connected with hardware and Skype. The problem is that it loses connection with the USB box every few hours, and after that you often have to reboot PC to regain connection. D-Link doesn't work hard enough on their software updates.

It generally works perfect. Some times I get hung up on and it lot of static. It might not be the D-Link. If you understand how Skype works through someone elses PC, you have to wonder. The only complaints were it was difficult to install. Don't use the software it comes with, download new code from D-Link. Next, the volume is much higher, and my desk phone can't lower the volume. It is a great product and a great idea!

This product has given nothing but trouble. The main problem is that it crashes in the middle of most calls that last longer than a few minutes. After downloading new software from the d-link web site the problem still persisted. When I contacted d-link I was told that the software hadn't been updated to work with Windows XP SP3 and that I would have to remove it and reinstall SP2.
