I have been thoroughly disappointed with their products and lack of customer service. They average about 2-3 weeks to return an email for customer service issues. I finally got through to a representative and was advised to send the product back to them, at my own expense and they emailed back about 1 month later stating that there is no problem with the item. I have had the U3 for about 1.5 years now. It performs flawlessly and easy. I use it to commute and exercise. I have dropped it several times without any damage. Most important for me, it can plug and play on any pc as it works easily with mediaplayer. You don't have to download anything to play it as long as you are on a pc. The iAudio 2 GB was an excellent product while it worked. However, after about three months, sound would short out. At first I could get it to work again by simply twisting the ear-phone plug but within a week, the sound would not work at all. Even though this item is offered with a 1 year warrenty, there seems to be no way to contact the company for warrenty, or any other service. Not being a technophile I really like my iAudio. Being able to access it like a removable memory device simplifies things and my media player can also link to it with its software. The sound quality is good, although I'm using cheap ear buds right now in the gym instead of the ear buds that came with it.
