The era of prohibition in America saw organized crime rise to new heights and the establishmentof criminal families that frequently fought with each other in bloody mob wars. There was a lot at stake in this a dog-eat-dog world of crime. Fortunes could be made if you controlled all the: gambling, booze distribution, prostitution and protectionrackets in your neighborhood.

But you were never safe for long, there were always new guys coming along to muscle in on your turf. Guys that would just as soon drown you in a cement mixer as give you the time of day. Your quest to become theKing Pin amongst your peers takes you to five different cities. Starting in the suburbs of quiet little old Hick Town, on to the inhospitable Cripple's Bend, then halfway across the world to Rangoon in Burma, back to the Southern parts of the U.S. inDead Dog Ditch and finally to the Mecca of organized crime - - Capitol City. Every city presents a unique challenge as you have to overcome the natural hazards already there and still carry out the demands of the Godfather.

To wrest control ofa city from the grasp of other families you must fight a block-by-block turf war against them and the authorities. Using your gang of Workers, Gangsters, Undesirables, Thugs, and Fixers you start by constructing a power base in a city which youultimately hope to expand into an empire by controlling all the blocks in the city. This is not something you can do quickly; it takes time, planning, Resourcefulness and a willingness to be completely ruthless. You'll have to wage bloody war on rivalgangs, cope with regular shakedowns by the police, and still find time to make money.

- THE BEST MOB GAME EVER MADE FOR YOUR PC !!
When I first bought the game, I was a little skeptical. It was actually the first PC game I ever bought. The original edition was made around 2000-2001.

The gameplay is different from the newer pc games, because it's more or less formatted like an "old school" video game.

The game is pretty fun, but you are never really allowed to just build an empire and play. The "Boss" always has very specific goals for you to reach and at times the game doesn't recognize that the goal has been reached and you have to start completly over.
