What is it with Microsoft and their interfaces - do they always have to cram all the crap they can into an interface so that it becomes unuseable. Especially in a GPS software you want minimal things interfering with what it is supposed to do best. Just show me the route and get out of the way! No - MSSST keeps trying to give every piece of infromation on the window - there is no way to close off all the extraneous information. Entering a new address requires two hands!! Don't waste your money buying this product. You are better off using the free maps online.

I was fortunate to have my employer reimburse me for the outlay of $, and can't complain too loudly as if I didn't get it "free". Beyond the really cool features this program has, the old map data can really frustrate you. I rely (too much?) on this product to get me to specific addresses all over my territory (the 5th largest state in the US, and then some) and has led me down dead end roads, and couldn't find some streets that have been established, and are on other maps for more than 5 or 6 years. ... I love the product but am very disappointed with Microsoft and growing more and more discouraged with many of that products the carry a mail-in rebate. In this case, MS would not provide me with the rebate because I didn't send in a proof of purchase bar code, which was never explained to me in the rebate literature.
