- WHAT A GAME !
I have been playing games for some time now... I have tryed plenty of them..

BUT this games would have to be the best one I have played, the fact that I can get into any Vehical I must say is just fantastic ! LOVE flying the " egg beater" and the " Sniper Rifle" well now WHAT can I say....!

CAN'T wait for number two to come out !...
The only other game that it would match would be only be " HALO "...
only one word to discribe it, FANTASTIC !.

This game, to start off, is like every other war game, in the way that you drive around, Accept a contract and then go kill somebody YADDA YADDAYADDA. I like this game for a few reasons,
Even though the map doesn't get bigger and you don't get an extremely wide variety of vehicles (which sucks) the game shows you how other people think they can make a video game of the cold war. It gets harder and you get frustrated with your health and the missions people give you.

This game is soooooooo fun. You can do virtually anything including blow up random giant buildings, hijack cars, fly helicopters, kill or capture anybody, and befriend different armies. Their is so much freedom to do what ever you want, that you dont even have to follow the story line (unless you want to beat the game). The weapons are awesome too. Its fun to go offroading in any car or blow up trucks and buildings. But if you like to stick to the story line it might get a little hard to complete. ... Read More

Do you like explosions? Hell, I sure do! Mercenaries is a game full of explosions. Blow up a bridge, blow up a car, blow up an office block. If your bored, blow up a city. Not only this, but the music rocks.

Buy it now, you'll thank me later. I've had it for years, never gets boring.

I just love this game. My brother and I bought it about a year ago and have played it many many times since. First, for a game on the ps2, the graphics aren't to bad. They might not be what they could be but hey, I didn't spend months proggraming this thing. There's lots of detail too, like if you run into something, your car gets a dent.
