I have several friends that bought this same item. It has worked well for them. Mine has issues from 10ft+. Battery compartment is a real pain to open. Eats batteries alive.

I love this product. The screwdriver thing is an annoyance but let's get real...is it a big deal? No. The advantage of this product over ALL other presenters is, this device is a TOTALLY wireless mouse you can use anywhere! Most of what other reviewers said is right. Just never drop it on a hard floor. Plus, I can read my Serial number.
It seems to be for large hands, left or right. It is a first step toward a good product. The next generation needs a no-tools battery door or a drop-in battery charger and true 50-foot range. Mine dies at 8 feet away.
The Phaser's internal antenna is not omnidirectional. If you point it at 4 or 8 o'clock with respect to the receiver, it will not work.
I like it anyway.

This is a great product but care must be taken or it will stop working. It dropped a few times from my desk and now it only scrolls up and down.

For someone who is in the market for a gyration air mouse - this is a fantastic second choice, or First! (This one costs a lot less) The mouse is very comfortable the way it form fits to your hand.
