Pro's: powerful surge protecter that offers unbeaten protection from lightning strikes or other types of surges. Also provide's clean power to your electronics. In other words, it provides a constant flow of balanced voltage to anything that's plugged into it, something that regular surge protector's don't offer. I originally bought the Monster HTS200 for my 50" LCoS projection HDTV. It was 1650J surge protection with Clean Power 1. I wanted a little more surge, Clean Power 2 and the Tri-Mode protection that Monster has (HTS200 has dual mode). I really wanted a rack mount but found the features in the 1100 very similar to the MKII 2600 from Monster. The surge was double on the 2600 but everything else was basically the same.
