The NetMedia SC01 CAModulator is unique in-wall assembly that combine digital video channel modulator with CCD board camera. Perfect for residential security/monitoring applications, each Coax-Powered CAModulator installs using one RG59 or RG6 coax cable; the camera power input and the video output share the same coax. The video output is on a TV channel that you choose by setting a DIP switch on the modulator. It can then be distributed to all of the TVs in the home through the cable distribution system. No security monitor required.

The unique in-wall assembly combines a digital-video RF modulator with a CCD-board camera, and provides a one-coax installation where the power and video output for the camera share one coax cable. The output of the SC01 is a television channel that can be distributed via a cable distribution system to all of the televisions in the home, meaning no monitor is required. Easy to install, this camera fits in a single gang (light switch) box and is suitable to both indoor and outdoor applications, with a conformal coating that protects it from the elements.

The Net Media SC01 utilizes a black-and-white CCD (charge-coupled device) image sensor and a 3.6-millimeter fixed lens. This unit achieves a resolution of 350 horizontal TVL (TV lines), and can receive a picture down to a minimum illumination of 0.7 Lux. This camera features an automatic electronic iris, and a bendable bracket for adjusting your field-of-view. For its output the Net Media SC01 uses an F-connector, and operates via an RG59, or RG6 or better connection cable. This unit runs on 12-volts DC power supplied via its included cable, and uses a digital crystal PLL (phase-locked loop) modulation method.

Lux rating is the measurement used to indicate how sensitive a camera is to light, and stands for the level of light reflected off a piece of paper by a candle from one meter away. Thus a sensitivity of three Lux would mean a camera could generate an acceptable picture of a piece-of-paper-sized object that was illuminated by the equivalent of three candles from one meter away.
