Inspired by Hong Kong action movies, classic film noir style and hardboiled detective novels, Dead To Rights stars action noir hero, Jack Slate, a good cop in a bad city. He is forced to be a fugitive as he fights for his life and searches for his father's killers. The game features more than a dozen game mechanics including diving, rolling, punching, kicking, and lethally disarming enemies. Jack's canine partner (a Husky named Shadow) lives up to the name "man's best friend," helping Jack investigate crime scenes, sniff out bombs, retrieve weapons and attack enemies. Unique gameplay scenarios, mini games and stop motion special effects add to the action. The twisting plot, seedy citizens of Grant City and high-adrenaline action will leave you wanting more. Dead To Rights delivers an intense experience with great depth and detail that can't be defined within existing game genres.

- Poor Max Payne Rip-Off.
This Has to be the worst Max Payne Rip-off in History. Poor Graphics, Linear Story, & a Cheese-ball Character. Plus, The auto aim is annoying. There isn't anything awesome you're missing if you skip this game.

I 1st purchased this game because a friend told me it was good. This game is packed with action great game play and good graphics. I played this 1 until I finished it. I will now purchase part 2.

- Quite possibly the worst game I've ever played.
First and foremost, it looks like a commercialized Max Payne rip-off. I love Max Payne and I wouldn't mind if a game was using the same formula, but this took the formula and modified it for the more "sell-out" approach. The first FMV sequence was not the kind of thing I'd want to see in a game.

You play as a cop in this game. You can rob a car just like in Grand theft auto. The worst problem of this game is the graphic.It does not have many details.
The car you're driving look almost the same as others on the street. They are all black or dark brown!
Id rather play Maxpayne 2 or Burnout 3

Dead to Rights is about a cop named Jack Slate that is in somewhat similiar situation as Max Payne (except he has a dog).
The gameplay is different from Max Payne and the game overall has alot of pluses and minuses.
