Descend deeper into the catacombs to stamp out evil, buffer your experience, and pick up stronger weapons and spells--you're going to need them.

As if that weren't already enough to keep you playing for quite some time, this package includes the Hellfire authorized expansion pack, which provides even better weapons, more magical items, deeper levels, and a new character class: fearless monk. If you're the type who doesn't like to walk alone through the valley of the shadow of death, log on to Battle.net, where you can find up to three other players to join your party for free.

- Hellfire Patch Won't Work on 64-bit OS
The 1.01 Hellfire patch, which is difficult to find but IS located on Sierra's FTP server, is a 16-bit executable. It will NOT work on 64 bit operating systems.

Hellfire is a good single player expansion for diablo. The only bad thing about it is that it doesnt add as much as you would expect. But there are tons of things great about this game. Like the new character class the monk also new quests and over 20 new demons. The expansion adds a couple of spells and potions it also adds 2 new places to explore, the hive and the crypt. Fun game.

If you are thinking about buying this game go ahead and do it. This game kicks ... There is lots of adventure. You get to choose to be a rogue,warrior, or a sorcerer. You can also buy items and work your way up to be stronger and learn skills and spells. All of my friends have it to and all of them love it so if you are thinking about buying it go ahead and do it. I hope this review was a good help to you.

interesting idea...however cant play on the net with it...and thats 90% of the game there.

- great additional items, but not multiplayer
Diablo Hellfire allows you to become 2 new character classes, the Barbarian and the monk. There are also many more items to find in this add-on, from armor to weapons to magical items. However, Diablo Hellfire is restricted to single-player gaming, and cannot be played on Battle.net for multiplayer action. This is very disappointing, but somewhat of a relief since you don't have to deal with all those cheaters and hackers.
