Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Dude, you can probably repair your CD.
CDs are almost never damaged beyond repair.
Unless you can see light through the scratch, meaning the actual printed information surface of the media is damaged, you can have it buffed out.
Either do it yourself with a very mild abrasive agent (baking soda or such) and then polish, or take it to your local game/video rental store and ask them to do it. They probably have a little machine that repairs CDs and DVDs.

From what I played of the game it was good. But unforunatly The disk got scratched and then I couldn't play it any more. I was very disappointed especially since I was in the middle of finding the blue fuse. My point, be very careful with all your disks because you could end up missing out on what seems like a very good game.

Douglas Adams was a wonderfully creative writer. I highly recommend almost any of his books.

Sadly, a good author does not a good game designer make. The interface is derived from the old Infocom adventure games, with a bad command interpreter augmented by graphics. I spent 10 minutes at one point in the game trying to figure out the exact phrasing to finish a puzzle. This was my first PC game that I LOVED to play!

I was so stupid about it, that I couldn't even find my first cabin on board, BUT that soon got solved, and I was laughing all the way through. I liked the annoying parrot, and the brilliant graphics. I enjoyed the game MUCH more than Myst or Riven, which I gave up on due to boredom.

This game is really cool! This is only the second computer game that I have enjoyed, the first being King's Quest 7: The Princeless Bride. The navigation took a little while to get used to, but once I got the hang of it, it was fine. The graphics are superb and the music is good, as well. I really liked talking to the robots, although their conversation was limited. Some of the puzzles were rather difficult, but if they were all easy, the game would be over too soon.
